For over 8 years, Terri has worked in community mental health settings, providing drug and alcohol assessments, group work, coordination with probation officers, and testimony in court on behalf of her clients. Meanwhile, she has had over 15 years of experience in the private practice sector—treating clients from ages 5 to 85—and has worked with a geriatric psychiatrist in treating the elderly. Having developed intensive outpatient programs (IOP), she has also specialized in providing care with the use of MBSR on the more intensive level.
Terri has taught psychology courses at Lakeland Community College and Ursuline College for over 12 years, with a specialty in the education of students in child development and lifespan. She is currently teaching college courses at NDCL High School. She is qualified to provide education in dialectical behavior (DBT) and cognitive skills (CBT) to help her clients cope with difficulties in their lives and to bring about healing and recovery.
Terri is a member of the North American Association of Masters in Psychology and the American Psychological Association. She also takes pride in being an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ICADC).
